MUSLIMS GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH IDOLATR RELATIVES:
Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem
Allahumma swalli ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa sallim
Wahabis and other ignorant sects treat non-Muslims so harshly by taking some Quran verses out of context.
The verses that deals with Non-Muslims who are waging war against Muslims. They apply this verses out of context and use to legitimise their mistreatment of peaceful non-Muslims.
Some others pick and choose Quran Veres out of context and usually from hearing YouTube mullahs who have such merciless heart, just as they have malice against awliya Allah and Ahlul Bayth.
Below is the Hadith which Shows How Umar Ibn Al Khattab (Radiyallahu Anhu) treated his Non-Muslim relative:
It was narrated from Abdullah Ibn Umar that Umar ibn Al Khattab saw a ‘Hullah’ (a garment made of silk) and said: “O Messenger of Allah, why don’t you buy this and Wear it on Fridays and when meeting the delegations when they come to you?”. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “This is worn by one who has no share in the Hereafter.”
Then something similar was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he gave a Hullah to Umar from it. Umar said :” O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), have you give me this when you said what you said about the Hullah of Utarid? ” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ” I have not given it to you to wear it.”
So Umar gave it to an idolater brother of his in Makkah. (Sahih)

So we can see that non-Muslims who does not harm Muslims, they deserve a fair treatment with justice and kindness according to the understanding of the salaf saliheen. Even those who are guilty of commiting serious crimes must go through the law proceedings and people who are not in authority taking the duty of the police is not allowed in Islam, except when invasion to their private properties or places just as such laws are prevailing in nations and communities.
