PROPHET HOOD (A.S)

For 800 years the children of Sam (as) lived in the area of Mecca in Arabia. In the beginning the memory of the great flood was fresh in their minds and faithful to his promise and kept praising to God Almighty, the Creator. But gradually, as did the children of Adam (as), they forgot, until the flood was only a distant legend. People turned to the worship of false gods.A group of children of Sam (as) lived in northern Arabia. They called themselves Ad and big and aggressive people. They took what they wanted from other weaker. They captured the weak and turned into slaves and so did not work themselves. They worshipped their king as a god and the innocent victims killed and served for the meals.

One of the people of Ad was the first to find gold. He pulled it out digging in the creek under a rock. The status and made jewellery and people began to bow in front of these because of its stunning beauty.

This royal family of forgetful people born a descendant of Noah (as). They called Hood (as) because unlike the other people of Ad were friendly and mild-mannered. Although no one could see from his face light Mohammed (saw) shone like the sun breaking through the clouds.

Hood (as) while he was still quite young, left parties and ceremonies terrible people and retired to a cave on the hill to think and pray. When I was 40 years old shipping Allah angel Gabriel (as) tell it was going to be a great prophet. He must go and teach your people, but you should never, no matter how much I ask for people, display a miracle because that would lead to their destruction.

Hood (as) had always felt great sympathy for slaves Ad. Not only did all the work while his master slept, but most were treated and abused. They were fed and received too little shots. Hood (as) was brought to live with them, and found among the slaves, humble hearts and minds that were hungry for Truth. He began to teach the slaves of Allah and listened and followed their Prophet Hood (as).

When the family of Hood (as) who was discovered living with slaves, sleeping on the floor, eating miserable food uan, they were concerned. They went to him and asked him to behave like one of the owners of slaves, not as a slave. They put a whip in his hands and demanded that fustian a slave, his friend, or they would kill him. Hood (as) tried to refuse but his friends begged him to use his whip. They preferred to be beaten to lose their beloved Prophet.

No matter how hard or how often Hood (as) struck the slave believer, he was not hurt. No scars, no pain, no signs appeared in the body of the humble slave, even when the blows were strong enough to kill a normal man.
It was a miracle, and even when people of Ad not noticed this and did not change the words of Allah tested them discover their truth.

Now laughing Hood (as) and left him alone. When the king heard that Hood (as) taught about the gardens of Paradise decided to build himself a yard just to show people that its really the sky was on earth. For 20 years the slaves worked to build this beautiful garden was called Iram.

Now the king of Ad and his people were even more proud and presumptuous. Even felt that they were better than the rest. While the rest of Arabia was covered in a dry desert, they lived malnourishment in a garden full of fruits. Just when it seemed his pride got its highest point, the rains stopped Almighty Allah. For seven years no rain fell. The crops withered. Herds died. People went hungry. Only slaves were unchanged as they had learned to live with very little, and since his Prophet Hood (as) lived among them and the light emanating from it gave them energy and hope.

Ad King made all his people to pray to their gods for rain. On the horizon appeared three clouds. The first was white and a voice spoke to her saying, “Pick me my. I will rain down on you snakes and scorpions. ” The second was red and said “Pick me my. I will rain fire on you. “Third was black and said,” Pick me my. I will rain upon you a scorching wind. ” Either way, nobody except believers could understand his words.

People of Ad chose the black cloud and they were certain that it looked like a rain cloud. Hood (as) asked them to listen to the true God who created them and who might even save them. But they were safe now, in their pride, the rain which had been asked to come and cast Hood (as).

Hood (as) led believers to the cave on the hill and covered the entrance with rocks and prayed together.

The black cloud came more and more. The people who were so happy to see this cloud began to feel scared. For seven nights and seven days the scorching wind attacked the people of Ad. The wind burned their bodies and melted their gold holdings. Large creatures such as birds out of the clouds broke and the people tore to pieces and suss palaces from the ground and threw them like pieces of dust.

When he finished, nothing remained of Ad, no houses, no palaces, no trees, no grass brisna. But the beautiful garden of Iram, as it was built by believers, was saved and hidden by Allah till the last day he will return to appearer. Sometimes a believer, travelling alone in the wilderness, with the permission of Allah, stumbles upon this beautiful garden. But no matter how hard you look, you will not find again.

Hood (as) and the believers took them out of that desolate place. They settled in the area of Mecca where 150 years Hood (as) died and he was buried near what became the Ka’aba.

Advise for Success in Islamic Spiritual Way

ADVISE FOR SUCCESS IN ISLAM AND TARIQAH:

Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem

Allahumma Swalli Ala Sayyidina Muhammadin Wa Alaa Aali Sayyidina Muhammadin Wa Sallim

There is no Islam without Tariqah(Spirituality) and there is no Tariqah without Islam (Submission).
To succeed in the Path of Spirituality (Sufism/Tasawwuf) one must observe the following:
– Respect all Prophets and All Companions
-Respect Parents of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (alaihiswalathu wa salam)
-Love and respect for ahlul Bayt (Descendants of Prophet Muhammad alaihiswalathu wa salam)
-Respect the Khalifas of Muslims, the Imams and their creed.
-Respect all Saints of God, always remember that only a few Awliya Allah are known to the people. Your Shaykh may be one of them, but extreme love for your shaykh should not cause you to disrespect others even though there may be disagreements among the Shaykhs and Saints. (Remember the incident between Imam Ali and Ayesha R.A ,the incident between Hidr and Musa (peace be upon them all)
You might be a follower of one of them, but you cannot cause malice against another, if you are really a person of ahl zikr (Sufi tariqah) then that Zikr must bring you to understand that Allah and His Prophet (alaihisalathu wa salama) is above all Awliya Allah and all Ahlul Bayth. So do not interfere without authority.
– Love and Respect Parents
-Respect fellow Muslim brothers.
– Have best morals and manners with all people and treat every creations of Allah according to the Traditions of Prophet alaihiswalathu wa salam.

– Fulfill the needs of Poor Orphan, destitute and needy.

SOME VERSES IN QURAN AND AHADITH RELATED TO THE ABOVE STATEMENT:

Quran Chapter 107 :

  1. Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?
  2. Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),
  3. And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.
  4. So woe to the worshippers
  5. Who are neglectful of their prayers,
  6. Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),
  7. But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs

42:23 Declare [O’ Muhammad]:  “I ask you of no recompense for my toil except the love for my kin (family).”  And the one who earns good, We shall expand it for him.  Verily Allah is oft‑forgiving and appreciates good works.

On the authority of Abu Dharr Jundub ibn Junadah, and Abu Abdur-Rahman Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:Have taqwa (fear) of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave well towards the people. It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a hasan (good) hadeeth, and in some copies it is stated to be a hasan saheeh hadeeth.(40 Hadith Imam Nawawi)

On the authority of Tameem ibn Aus ad-Daree (ra):The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The deen (religion) is naseehah (advice, sincerity).” We said, “To whom?” He (ﷺ) said, “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk.” [Muslim]

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day speak good, or keep silent; and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his neighbour; and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his guest. [Al-Bukhari] [Muslim ] 40 Hadith

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Verily Allah ta’ala has said: ‘Whosoever shows enmity to a wali (friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to me with nafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge.’ ” [Al-Bukhari] 40 Hadith Nawawi

Tabarani and Haakim narrated from Ibn Abbaas that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said

‘O Children of Abdul Muttalib, I asked Allah three things for you; that He keeps your hearts steadfast (upon Islam); that He teaches the Deen to your ignorant and illiterate and guides your astray, and that He make you kind, generous and affectionate to one another. So if a man prays, standing between the Rukn and Maqaam, and fasts but dies with malice for the Household of Muhammad he has entered Hell.’ [Tabarani in Al-Kabir, Vol. 11, Page 142, Hadith 11412 | Mustadrak al-Hakim, Vol. 3, Page 162, Hadith 4712]

Tabarani narrates from Ibn Abbas that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said:
‘Malice for the Bani Haashim (migrants) and Ansaar is kufr (heresy) whilst malice for the Arabs is hypocrisy.’ [Tabarani in Al-Kabir, Vol. 11, Page 118, Hadith 11312]

Ibn Adee in Al-Kaleel narrates from Abu Sa’eed Khudri Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said

‘He is a hypocrite who has malice for our Ahl al-Bait.’ [Jawahir al-Aqdain, Vol. 2, Page 25]

Tabarani narrates from Imam Hasan bin Ali that he said to Muaawiyya bin Khudayj:
‘O Muaawiya Ibn Khudayj guard yourself from having malice for us because undoubtedly the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam said ‘No one has malice for us and no one is envious of us except on the day of Qiyaamah he will be kept away from the fountain by whips of fire.’ [Tabarani in Al-Kabir, Vol. 3, Page 81, Hadith 2726 and Al-Awsat, Vol 3. Page 203, Hadith 4426]

Ibn Adee and Bayhaqi, in Shau’ab ul Imaan, narrated from Sayyiduna Ali the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said
‘Whosoever did not recognise the right of my family and Ansaar is one of three; either a hypocrite, born illegitimate or conceived by his mother whilst she was impure.’ [Ibn Adee in Al-Kaamil, Vol. 3, Page 106 | Shau’ab al-Iman, Vol. 2, Page 232, Hadith 1614, Daylami in Al-Firdaws, Vol. 3, Page 662, Hadith 5955]

Daylmi narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Sa’eed that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said
‘My Ahl ul Bait and the Ansaar are my wealth, my body, my household and my family, the locus of my happiness and my trust. So accept the good deeds of their good and overlook the mistakes of any of them (not from the Hudood of Allah).’ [Daylami in Al-Firdaws, Vol. 1, Page 407, Hadith 1645]

Ibn Hibban, in his sahih, and Haakim narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa’eed Khudri that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said

‘By He in whose Hand is my Life no man will have malice for my Ahl ul Bait except that Allah will put him in Hell.’ [Mustadrak al-Hakim, Vol. 3, Page 126, Hadith 4717 | Sahih Ibn Hibban, Vol. 15, Page 435, Hadith 6978]

Tabarani in Awsat narrates from Hassan bin Ali that the beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam said
‘Make the love of our Ahl al-Bait compulsory for whoever meets Allah having love for us shall enter paradise with our intercession and By He in whose Hand is my life no deed will benefit a servant except by recognizing our right.’ [Tabarani in Al-Awsat, Vol. 3, Page 122, Hadith 2251 | Al-Shifa, Vol. 2, Page 48]
Ihya al-Mayyit bi Fadhai’l Ahl al-Bayt Alaihim ar-Ridwan
by Imam Abd ar-RaHman Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti Radiyallahu Ta’ala anhu)

The Prophet (J) said, “All of a Muslim is prohibited for another Muslim”
Allāh has made the Muslim sacred. And the meaning of “All of a Muslim” is “His blood,
his wealth and his honour”

Allāh said in the Qur’ān:
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some
suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one
another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his
dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting).
And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts
repentance, Most Merciful. [Surah Al-Hujurāt 49:12]
And the Prophet (J) said,
“Do you know what al-gheeba is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger
know best.” He said, “To make mention of your brother with that which
he dislikes.” They said, “How about if my brother actually has what I have
said about him?” He said, “If he has what you have said about him, then
you have committed gheeba..”
Because it is not permissible for you to speak about the people,
“..and if not, then you have committed slander.”
